Another prime source of vapor locking is those cursed fuel pumps with the flat top and to spiggots where one is bent at a ninety degree angle and the other one straight up. I got one from NAPA and had many many problems before I figured out what was going on. Phil Cram at Cram Foreign Auto in Omaha confirmed this with me. Use only OEM pumps or OEM style...no flat top fuel pumps!
