There is not a better air cleaner than an oil bath air cleaner. The only reasons you should change is if you do a lot of off-roading and slop oil into your carburetor or need more flow for a hi-performance engine. It's a property of physics that when air takes a 90 degree turn, the particles suspended in it fall out. If you trace the path of the air in an oil bath air cleaner, you will see it makes at least 2 turns.
