Hi All, The pan from my 69 Bug is bad enough that I will need to replace the front chassis support and the framehead bottom plate.? I assume there would normally be some sort of reinforcements/spacers the would keep the area from collapsing where the body bolts go through those two pieces.? Anyone know what should be in there?? Are they plate type spacers or bushings, etc that would be the height of that area?? The replacement chassis support I have does not have those spacers inside.? I am aware of the bushing type spacers that keep the chassis support from collapsing where the master cylinder bolts up, but they are still in the old chassis support.
