Hi All, A friend came by today with a 69 Autostick Bug.? I was under the car looking into where he was loosing heated air, when I noticed the area around the rear most drain hole in the bottom of the tunnel looked oily/wet.? I was concerned it might be a fuel leak, but it did not smell at all of gas.? It did seem ,whatever it was, to be dissolving the undercoating around the hole though, so I think it could be fuel.? Any thoughts on what anyone here thinks might be coming out there?? Brake fluid was low, but that would be on the floorpans, not inside the tunnel, correct? Brakes are firm as well.
