To be honest with you, I'd go with a 1776 single port with the smaller
30/31 carb. Simple, effective, and easy to maintain. Never used the hyd
lifters, but I like the idea of them. To keep the wide 5, you'll need to
find some '68 only?? (I think) drums, but if you're going to disc
brakes, now your looking at some aftermarket stuff, like these

I like you're thinking, but then again, I have to convince the wife to
