Welcome back! The Bakelite piece? I would be tempted to drill out the hole a bit and see if it stress relieves enough to pull out with an easy-out of the kind that cuts threads into the hole. Any chips that fall into the case will end up in the oil strainer soon enough. An easy-out by itself might do the trick. Possibly hook the bottom of the part with a piece of bent stiff wire and pull it out - slide hammer it with a vise-grips on the wire and another sliding under it to tap with.
You could pull the oil pump and fish out the part after tapping it through into the case, also. Otherwise, get or make up a block-off plate, and put in that electric pump. Be sure you get a low pressure pump - FI models will overload the carb's needle valve and flood the motor.
