Pulling the oil pump gets you nowhere.  The cam gear is behind that and 
another case wall behind that.

The Bakelite piece? I would be tempted to drill out the hole a bit and
see if it stress relieves enough to pull out with an easy-out of the
kind that cuts threads into the hole. Any chips that fall into the case
will end up in the oil strainer soon enough. An easy-out by itself might
do the trick. Possibly hook the bottom of the part with a piece of bent
stiff wire and pull it out - slide hammer it with a vise-grips on the
wire and another sliding under it to tap with.

You could pull the oil pump and fish out the part after tapping it
through into the case, also. Otherwise, get or make up a block-off
plate, and put in that electric pump. Be sure you get a low pressure
pump - FI models will overload the carb's needle valve and flood the motor.
