I'm willing to host it on my web page temporarily with a direct link. It
would be good if this could be part of the archives.
Speaking of which, thanks to John and others for trying to get the archives
back. That's a shame that large chunks are forever lost. I hope once we
reclaim as much of this data as is possible, that we can spread the archive
around for a bit of redundancy. We really lost a lot of valuable advice and
I wish we could have done something about it sooner.

That's beautiful! Now that I have names for all the pieces, my input on the
bad running engine:
I have seen similar symptoms when the 'auxiliary fuel jet' gets plugged. I
never knew what it was called, but it really doesn't run right if it is
plugged up. It seems to gum up from old/poor fuel or get plugged with
sediment.
