Hi VaShaun and Eric, I'm so happy you noticed the new update. It was released by Apple about 7 pm last evening. We are sorry there was the problem with the ticking noise and happy that the fix is satisfactory.
VaShaun, you may also want to use the Digit-Eyes website for making your codes. Just create and account and log in. You'll find that the label-making software is carefully designed to be accessible with Jaws, WindowEyes and (of course!) VoiceOver if you have a mac. the direct link is here: http://www.digit-eyes.com/cgi-bin/digiteyes.fcgi?action=requestTextLabelForm To get to it, just go to www.digit-eyes.com, log in and select the option 'Make Text Labels'. There is also an option for making the recordable audio labels there. And label creation is all fre.
