Mark, This issue may not have to do with Zello after all. It may be a software issue with the latest version of IOS. I attempted to load yet another app, which name perhapse the messages app, or the phone app in order to add a contact and the same thing occured. Voice levels went down approximately 75%, only when I re-loaded another audio app did the voice come back.

Afew minutes ago I attempted to make use of the app, Zello. Things went well until I exited the app. Voice-over was severely diminished, even when I shut down my Iphone 4 and turned it back on. I checked the sound level and was told it was at 100%. I then attempted to load another sound-using app, Atbat 2012 and this seemed to have negated the problem, so for those of you using Zello, be aware.
