Well, I'm currently following 817 Twitter accounts, and with good use of
lists that works fine. It doesn't mean that I always read every tweet, I
simply don't have time, however I have lists into which I place tweets of
people whose tweets I never want to miss.

Ok, Jonathan, that cleared it up. I was hoping to get notified on tweets;
I'm not following that many. But I do certainly see where it wouldn't be
practical if one were following hundreds. Then again, how would you keep up
if you were following that many?
