Hi Sean Paul and others,

Here is a update. It has a happy ending.

I went to the AT and T store and sure enough a micro cell would cost me
$200.00. I asked them if it was possible to be given one if you had bad
reception at your home. they said they could not do that but I should call
Customer Service and explain my situation. They said that as I had been a
customer for a long time I might get help from them.

So I went home and called. I explained my situation and asked them if they
could help me out.

He confirmed that I had poor reception and that I had a strong internet
connection. He checked that I had been a customer for a long time. He then
checked with his supervisor and they are sending me a Micro cell directly with
no charges.

They asked if they could call back and confirm that I was able to get it to
work.

If it had not been for information gained from this list I would not have known
to ask for a micro cell rather then paying a $200.00 for one.

Thanks everyone for the information. I will write again with a report on how
the micro cell works. I'm looking forward to having cell phone reception at
home!
