Notification center lets you review the notifications various apps may have sent you. Touch an icon in the notification bar, such as your Wi-Fi strength, then pull down with three fingers. The notification center will be revealed. You can now left and right flick to read the weather, stocks, and other info you have configured in the notifications area of settings.
From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sandy Finley Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2012 4:24 AM To: VIAPHONE Subject: What is the purpose of the Notification Center? As a brand new iPhone user the Notification Center seems superfluous. There is an icon on my home screen if I want weather and so far that's all I see that it does. And I don't see anything about it in the excellent NBP "Getting Started" book. Thanks. Sandy Finley -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
