Hi, I can dial 911 1 handed on an iPhone. Actually, most of the time while navigating, I'm only using 1 hand. That being said, there is no question in my mind that you can dial 911 faster on a phone with a physical number pad than a smart phone that doesn't have one. Just do to the fact you have to first open a menu, and possibly select the keypad or favorites tab depending on what tab you were last in if using an iPhone.
