Verizon definitely has the IPhone still, but the only thing that makes any sense to me about this confusion is that they do make it a bit obvious at times they don't want to offer the IPhone these days. They try very hard at times to push people over to Android instead. I have heard two reasons for that. One of them Verizon actually admitted to when I was in the store recently. The one they will tell you more or less is that they very much want people on 4G and not 3G. They can manage many more customers on their 4G network at less cost to them. The other reason I have heard elsewhere is that carriers are becoming discontent with the fact they can't have the kind of control with putting bloteware at all on the IPhone like they obviously can with Android. Apple has a heavy hand in telling the carriers what they will and will not do with the IPhone. I feel absolutely no sympathy for the carriers on that one.
