You can get free directory assistance from Verizon also. But, you are right that AT&T allows you to browse while on a phone conversation, which you can't do with Verizon.
Also, to the guy who upgraded to a 4s and kept the unlimited data plan with Verizon, I think it depends on when you did the upgrade.
