Hello: Currently, I use a barcode scanner that connects to my computer via USB and uses bcscan.com. I would like my iPhone to take over this job. A few years back, I tried doing this with several different apps and found the experience to be severely lacking. Perhaps it was the apps, perhaps it was the camera. I have an iPhone 6+ which has a significantly better camera. What would be the go to app for this task? I'd like to be able to identify canned foods and other items in my kitchen, while I'm cooking, instead of having to run back and forth to the computer and back.
