I am sorry, I know I must be dense; but I have not had the 8.0 plus
update on my phone but a couple months since I thought with a 4s it
wasn't a good plan to update but it is okay, except for the braille
thing. I have tried the G chord and changing things, nothing works. I
turned quick nav on and saw the symbols but then they disappeared and
are not in the address.
I have looked on Apple vis, read about braille commands and I am just
not getting anywhere. My focus is an older model, not the 14. Would this
effect things?
I don't understand since before the update ing I had no issues putting
in an email address. What is this quick nav thing, and am I suppose to
be dealing with input rather than output? I am so embarrassed to be so
stupid; I worked on this a couple hours yesterday and just couldn't
think straight any more.
I have tried all the different dot methods; but why do the symbols not
show up, or rather, disappear?

computer braille, use dot 4 for at and dots 4-6 for period. If you’re writing
in contracted US braille, type dot 4 before each of those symbols; so at sign
is dot 4 twice, and period is dot 4 followed by dots 4-6. If you’re typing in
UEB, use dot 4 followed by dot 1 for at sign, and dots 2-5-6 for period.
