All, my wife’s phone, whenever she pluggs it in, tells her that there is a
problem creating a backup to iCloud; apparently she has 4 or 5 gigs of stuff
beyond the 5-gig limit according to iCloud. This seems rather unlikely given
the fact that she has a small amount of photos and videos and little or no
music.
We had to reset all settings recently when we had an issue with the Alex voice;
one night the voice switched to the high quality female voice, and it would not
switch back to Alex even though the sound effect sounded so the Apple
representative said she needed to reset all settings.
Since then we have had to fix things here and there; there seems to be no way
she has that much stuff on her phone—I have more stuff and do not have this
issue.

How can I discover what the cause is so I can remedy it?
Is there something else I could reset, turn on or off, etc.?

Thank you.
