Hi Christopher, It sounds like you accidently muted speech. This is different from turning off Voiceover since basically Voiceover is still running and all gestures still are Voiceover gestures. You really have to think of it as a "Mute" option rather than a "turn off" option. The gesture to to turn speech on/off without turning Voiceover off is a double tap with 3 fingers. If you completely turn off Voiceover and turn it back on this will also unmute the speech and this is where SIRI comes in. You can tell SIRI "Turn off Voiceover" and "Turn on Voiceover". But it's also a good idea to practice your gestures, so try the double tap with 3 fingers as well. Regards, Sieghard
