Hello Alex,

While using the Tracking Plus Heading feature, in the native iOS Maps app,
will cause some intersections to be announced, along with directional heading,
if/when the screen turns off, announcements will cease.

Also, the details of the intersection are not described as they would be, in
the Seeing Eye GPS app or on the new Humanware Trekker Breeze.

While I am not suggesting that one should not use the iOS native Maps app in
order to hear intersection announcements, I would argue that there are more
comprehensive GPS navigation solutions available for one to consider.

Mark

Apple Maps does do this, actually. In Maps, find the "tracking" button, and
double tap it until it is set to "on with headings". Now, so long as Maps is
open and the phone is unlocked, you'll hear streets and some POIs as you move.
