scott,
okay I will am doing this after I reply to you.
scott, since blind tech trainer showed me knfb, and I was able to feel
vibration if I don't keep iphone up in right place. so I have to keep it in
good level before take picture. so far, if I go to field of view, I press
navigator button or joystick button, the flashing pops up too fast and
disappears as I only see two words all edges, but nothing else to read
moreas if I use advance button to advance to read the whole
flashing.statement. so since hearing blind can follow audiable speech, that
is okay, but how can deafblind person follow full statement when the
flashing pops up on brialle display and disappears to fast. how do yo make
it slower? thank you1
sincerely,
rich

Hi richard.
As Andrew suggested, try slowing down the alert display duration,
assuming you are using iOS 9. Also, if you are finding that the
messages aren't flashing up on your display at all, press space with M
to turn speech on, and then space with M again to turn it off. I'm not
sure exactly why this makes a difference, but sometimes it does.
Good luck,
Scott

Hello,
Would decreasing speech rate not help?
Sent from an iPad. Please excuse any spelling errors.

to all,
while using brialle display, each time I hit rotor, it is hard to catch
what it says such as heading, word, character, container, etc as the
reading timeout is too fast. I can’t catch up everything, how can I make
timeout of reading little slower? so it would be easier for me to catch
up
to make sure I hit the right one before I go on.
