Hello Everyone, I'm just jumping into this thread but I can tell you that Siri works 100% of the time when I call Contacts that only have a company name in the Company field.
I suspect this is because I also include the name/label of the telephone number I wish to use. For example, were I to call Sieghard, I would say, "Call Sieghard at home" or "Call Sieghard's iPhone." Of course, if I only had one telephone number for him, I could simply say to Siri, "Call Sieghard." Now obviously, I have his first name in the first name field of the Contact. However, when calling a Contact that only has text in the company name, it is necessary to also include the name/label of the telephone number. When entering a company into my Contact's list, I always use the label, "Main". Therefore, whenever I want Siri to dial a company, I say, for example, "Call Time Warner Cable, Main" and the call is placed flawlessly. So, try including the label of the phone number you wish to dial, the next time you want to call a company in your Contact's list. Another thing I noticed is there is not as many default labels to choose from anymore. You only have 4 by default, Hone, Work, iCloud, and Other. I usually use Main for all companies, but now I have to make a custom label for those. So in my testing this out, I find that Siri is not consistent in calling phone numbers listed in company fields.
