When I got my 5s, the guy at the A T and T store told me that for the best results, wash your hands first with soap and water. So I did that and it worked just fine. From time to time I may have a problem with the sensor not reading my finger print and I get a try again message. If it fails the second time, I know the tries are limited so I'll go wash my hands and all will work again. Hope this suggestion works for you too!
