It sounds like you're thinking that what you call fragmentation is somehow a bad thing, but I just don't see it. First, I don't consider this fragmentation. In my mind, fragmentation is what you have in the Android or Windows ecosystems where you have multiple manufacturers able to customize the operating system or provide their own device drivers or hardware support. This leads to updates on various schedules, different experiences for accessibility and so on. I just don't see that with Apple supporting multiple form factors with different features, which they have for years already anyway. Everyone will still get updates on the same time, the user experience will be the same except for differences in the performance and features of the hardware and customers will have another option in form factor and price. Other than people having to let us know what device they're running on, which they already have to do, I just don't see a down side to what you're calling fragmentation.
BTW, even in the Android ecosystem, I don't consider fragmentation to be evil. It has it's down sides, like the ones I mentioned above, but it also has it upsides, such as multiple form factors, lower price points and so on.

No, it has everything the 6S has, same processor, same camera, but no
3D touch and also it seems there is just the 16 Gb and 64Gb
model, no 128 Gb model.

I haven't seen it official anywhere, but I have seen absolutely no
references to it, not from Apple, and not in the mainstream
Twitter feed I was following this morning. So I would say no it does
not have 3-D touch. This is the phone I would've bought last
fall had it come out at that time. It's perfect. Nice and small. And I
don't use the 3-D all that much anyway.
