Hi, Mark.
wow, guess I dodged a bullet there. LOL I only have 9.21 on my phone now.
For some reason I thought the constant references to 9.3 on this list was a
mistyped version number, so when the phone finally updated early this
morning I was happy until I read your message. Now I'm more relieved than
happy. Considering the issues people are having with older phones and the
latest iOS I have no problems waiting until things are straightened out.

Hello Lisa,
As of this moment, Apple has pulled the iOS 9.3 update from its servers for
iPhone 5 S and earlier devices, including the iPad 2. This is because, for
some, 9.3 was rendering the devices useless. Consider yourself lucky, at
this point although many iPhone 5 owners updated successfully.
According to various sources on the web, Apple expects to re-release 9.3 in
a couple of days.

Subject: iTunes hangs during latest iOS update
Hi, all.
I'm using an iPhone 5 with Verizon. I tried updating to 9.21 tonight using
iTunes version 12.1.3.6 and got a message saying the phone couldn't be
updated due to an unknown error. The code given was 3014. The Apple site
indicates this is one of the many codes indicating iTunes and/or the phone
can't communicate with the server.
I've reconnected the phone and launched iTunes again and had the same issue.
I've restarted the PC. I have verified that I have the latest version of
iTunes my PC can support. I'm using an ancient PC with windows XP.
Upgrading isn't an option for me, right now.
I can try doing the update over the air, but I feel more secure with iTunes.
Also, I have no issues either connecting or synching with this version of
iTunes. It gets to the point of extracting the software and preparing the
phone for updates and then the process hangs with that 3014 error code.
Any ideas?
TIA
Lisa
