I do believe that Calibre while inaccessible with screen readers can still be used to convert using the command line prompt. I haven't given it a try, but I have heard of others fiddling with it and getting it to work.
You may also want to give that a try. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Scott Davert Sent: Wednesday, September 05, 2012 7:42 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: converting files to ePub for reading on iDevices? Thank you all for your feedback! I'll give stanza a try and see how well it works. I've tried renaming files with the xml extention to html, and it didn't quite work out. I wanted the xml version of the file converted, as this would preserve any formatting attributes found in the DAISY content. As it stands, I'm much more impressed with the readability of files available in the iBooks app, than I am the read2go app. Being able to search text, being able to use the command to move by page, and the fact that braille support just seems better in iBooks are my reasons for choosing it over Read2go. Thank you all again for your responses!
