hi, As far as I am aware the KNFB reader doesn't give orientation information, but there is a workaround… let's say you have a sheet of A4 and you want to know which way up it is for printing et cetera, Cover one half, bottom or top, with a blank sheet of paper and take a KNFB shot. if it is a letter, you would hear the address and the first part of the letter if you get the top of the sheet. if it is the bottom you will read the signature. you could do the same with the check, only do it left side or right side. The right hand side should give you the amount that the check is valid for. does this make sense? certainly, I would like to see the app giving us orientation information at some point in the future. Plus, I would like to see the app keep formatting information in the scanned files. this could be very useful, for example, when one has to print out a page/form and then scan it and then rescan it.
