Exactly, it's all in how easy the interface of KNFB Reader is and while you might prefer to use a stand at home, you could still be in situations where you would want a good result quickly when you are in a hotel or somewhere else or if you want to take a picture of a sign. I have automatic picture turned on, I usually put the phone on the page and line it up so it's reasonably straight with the edges, then I lift it straight up, as soon as I hear "text found, hold still" I hold still and the app takes the picture without me having to do a thing.

Krister, Prizmo takes many steps to get a page scanned whether you use a stand use it free hand. KNFB Reader takes one step whether you use a stand or use it free hand. It still boils down to how much time a person wants to spend trying to get a good scan. I use a stand only when I have multiple pages to scan. I can lay a page on any surface, even just hold the page in one hand and the phone in the other and get a good scan in one try with KNFB reader. But, if I'm doing several pages, it is much faster to put the phone on a stand and change pages with my hands free. As I have said before, the Fopydo stand is my favorite stand, but others people prefer ScanJig or StandScan, it is all about personal choice.
