I am also getting the message about the lens being covered in automatic mode. However, in manual mode it does actually recognize the text when I take a picture.
So does anyone know why it would think the lens is covered? ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of Brian Moore [[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, May 17, 2016 11:21 AM To: [email protected] Subject: knfb reader help Hi all. So I have a strange issue with my knfb reader. the recent discussion prompted me to play with it and now I have a problem. I am using it on an iphone 5s 64 gb. When I do a field of view report, it tells me things. However, no matter what picture I take, I get no text found. If I turn on automatic picture mode, it says lense covered once in a while. This would lead me to suspect that my camera is not working. However, I can take a photo and there actually is one. Also, why would the field of view report tell me info if camera was not working. Is there an issue with this old a phone? If so, I will consider getting a new one. anyone got a carrier unlocked thing they want to sell?
