Another interesting thing i forgot to mention yesterday. I put my ipod into DFU mode just to see what it looked like, hit restore, and it offered to restore to Ios9.1, I believe it was. I didn't do it, of course, because as far as i know apple isn't signing that version anymore, so I think restoring to it would brick my ipod worse than it already is. Why would a DFU mode restore offer a firmware Apple isn't signing?
