I have ordered a 13000MAH PowerBank from one of my online stores. I didn't
ask Sam all the
questions that have been suggested, so I hope that it will keep my iPhone
battery charged for much
longer than at present.
I am not a big iPhone user and, really, use it for not much else than playing
Word Ladder, but I
find that it can drop from 100% charge to 60 in about 3 hours.
When I am away from a wall socket, should I plug the phone into the PowerBank
from the beginning,
or leave it until the phone battery has dropped to half charge?

Subject: Re: powerbank/external battery suggestions/questions

Mophi used to make a talking juice pack. It has long been
discontinued. It only held a couple of charges of an iPhone 4. I
have a Mophi block that holds eight iPhone charges. Others prefer a
case with an extra charge. Even if the talking unit were still
available, I would rather have a unit that could do eight charges so I
could go on a weekend trip without worrying about iPhone battery life
or where to plug it in. With so many charges, it would be unlikely
that I would use them all up and therefore do not need to know exactly
when my juice pack is low. I just charge both the iPhone and the jice
juice pack at the same time.
