The Peak 6000 or whatever it is called is still available. I think I have seen it on the AT Guys website. It is a 6,000 MAH external battery which has a button and when you press said button it will tell you that the battery is full, above 50%, below 50% or needs recharging. It is pretty big for the capacity (Anker makes batteries with 3 or 4 times that capacity now that are about the same size), but if a talking function is important to you then it is as far as I know the only game in town. It is also expensive compared to Anker's offerings. I bought it years ago when I still had my 4S because it has an integrated 30-Pin charge cable and while the talking function is nice, I would certainly not buy it again when it stops holding a charge.
It has 1 USB port and it will start charging as soon as you plug it in. If your iPhone is fully charged it will, however, say it is on AC Power so I think the battery keeps topping it up. If you plug the battry into a power outlet (it has an integrated, flip-out plug) it will announce that it is charging and it will say "Charging complete, powering off" or something like that when it is fully charged. The one I have I bought when I still had my iPhone 4S and as far as I know this never got updated, but it has an integrated/attached short 30-Pin connector which of course isn't of much use unless you still have a 4S. It also has an integrated USB Micro port which is useful if you need to charge a Bluetooth headset or speaker. If you plug in a USB cable to the USB port it will say "Charging USB device". The battery should have one or more of the following features: 1- 1/2 usb-ports to charge e.g. a iphone6. 2- a way to read the battery-level of the power bank as blind person: (or the power bank can speak or there is perhaps a app on the iPhone that can read-out the energy-level of the power bank on the iPhone); 3- the power bank should stop charging if the device is full: this seems to be possible; 4- the power bank should not be turned on/off with a button but should start/stop automatically when a usb-cable is plugged in/out: this is also possible in the global power bank-market. Finding a powerbank with all available options is nearly impossible I think. I ask this question here Since I want to know which power banks exists with the property described in number 2. But of course , all other suggestions are also very welcome. Kind regards, William Windels -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
