Hi Raul, Yes, they use SIM cards, but the iPhone 5 is now going to an even smaller SIM card called a Nano SIM. I assume that you could probably cut a Micro SIM to the size of a Nano SIM just like you can cut a regular size SIM to the size of a Nano SIM.
