If I send a message with, for example, fireworks, I gett eh sound effect and I assume the visual effect when the message is sent, but any messages with effects coming in just describe the effect. I hope Apple will fix this because in addition to the description I don't understand why they wouldn't also display the visuals and play any associated audio when Voiceover is running.

When I send the message, VO explains what the effect is, but once the message is sent, there's no way to tell if it has effects or not. A lot of features in the messages app are more accessible than I thought they would be, so I applaud Apple for this, but I think there's still some work that needs to be done. I sent an effects message with balloons, and a slamming bubble. I didn't try the invisible ink, but I will do that tonight and let you know. I think my friend who receives most out my test messages is being very patient with me, as I ask lots of questions, and I sent many accidental digital touch messages.
