I updated my iPhone 5s and my iPod Touch 6 to iOS 10.0.2. Did you check Settings, General, About to see what version you are running? If not 10.0.2, and no update is showing up under Settings, General, Software Update, try rebooting your phone, because the 5s certainly can take the latest update. HTH Richard
