One thing he definitely does not want to do is use whatever plan he has from
your country in the US, the roaming charges will be brutal.
I am quite sure T-Mobil has prepaid cards and his phone should work fine with
T-Mobil or even AT&T, not sure if it wold work with Verizon and it's very
unlikely it will work with Sprint as they are still using CDMA and all european
phones are GSM phones.
It will be best for him to go to a T-Mobil store once he gets there (many large
malls in the US have one) and to ask what is his best option for the 2-months
that he is ther.

Take care,
Sieghard

Hi Richard,

thank you very much for information.

He wil be staying in the U.S. for two months, until Christmas, he does not know
if he will get back there after Christmas, so he is trying to find the best
option regarding carrier.

Thanks again.

Best regards,

Maria
