I haven't tried your suggestion yet Donna! but I think that you have nailed it! 
 Around the time the 
screen changed, I did hear "containers" spoken, so, with trepidation I will try 
and sneak up, 
unseen, on Rotor and locate "containers" and with a boot to the rear end, give 
it the old heave ho!

Do you have "containers" in your rotor? When I added containers to my rotor & 
had containers 
selected in my rotor, I was able to reproduce your problem with iAssociates.

If you do have containers in your rotor, try removing it from the rotor by 
going to settings, 
general, accessibility, voiceover & swiping down to rotor & unselect 
containers. Try opening 
iAssociates & see if the problem still exists.
