That depends on which hardware you are running. For the 3GS, I expect it will 
become a bit more sluggish. I also expect the same for the 4, though I doubt it 
will be as noticeable. For the 4S, I do not expect any slowdown from this 
upgrade. However, I expect the new 5 will run faster.

Last year, when my 4 went in to the shop for a week, I used a 3GS loaner. 
Because I was used to my 4, the 3GS felt quite sluggish to me.
