I got SE to do the click and clack thing and as it was active, I did
what you suggested. It sounds like VO is back, but Siri will still not
talk to me.
Looks like I am half way back.
Thanks!

Do you hear clicks as you move around the screen? You may have muted Voice
Over. Try doing a three finger double tap.

Subject: my SE won'ttalk to me
Hi All,
I don't know what I've done, but Siri and VO will no longer talk to me.
I wasn't sure if it was turned on, so I flipped the silent switch on the side
and it vibrated when I did that. I tried, swiping, tapping, etc, but no
response. I called the phone from my land line and it rangt like normal, but
it also vibrated. I double tapped and it 'answered' the call. No talking of
any kind occurred..it did not tell me who was calling.
Does anyone have any idea what I have done to silence the voices? Help and/or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nancy and the silent SE
