All message friends did was take you to messenger.

hi I know messenger is still there but there used to be another menu that
said message friends when you clicked on it it gave you an option to open a
Facebook chat you could also see who was online and not that seems to have
disappeared and now all that seems to be available is messenger it's self

Hi I am using the latest version of the facebook app on my iPhone se and
running iOS 10.3
I log into the Facebook app this morning and noticed there is no more an
option for Facebook chat do you know if they have moved the setting or
what now there are direct photos and videos and an option that takes you
directly to be able to record a video or take a picture
