this is why I buy absolutely no music from the itunes store. CD's cost the same price or less and I can play the ripped MP3 files on any device from any company. I can transfer them to an unlimited number of devices in my lifetime and have no restrictions whatsoever. If I switch from Apple, which I cannot imagine now, my music goes with me.
