Richard, when I said that I always manually lock my phone or rather have it on never locked, it doesn't mean that I don't manually lock it. It's the sort of detail I would never forget. So as soon as I'm done using the phone and plan to step away to do other things I manually lock it. Pure and simple! Now I've got it on auto lock which can sometimes be a little annoying but it's not the worst. I remember that you had a 5S and I haven't heard you talking about replacing it so I am somewhat envious. I would've been happy with the 5S, but it was not part of the offer Verizon originally made me where the six given what it came with was my best prospect at the time.
