Yes, by default calls from a number in your favourites list are let through,
do note though, that the numbers are what counts. So for example, you might
have someone's home number in your favourite list, yet not their work
number. If you have enabled the DND function and they call from work, the
call will bounce out to voice mail, if though from their home line, they'll
be let through.

All I can say is that DND is working absolutely as expected for me.

One thing I might say to the person who was in the preyer session. Perhaps
the person rang twice, having the first time been shunted straight to your
voice mail, they may have hung up, and dialed straight back. You pperhaps
are being a little unfair to say it does not work.

To test this, go into Notifications from the Settings menu, now, DND, and in
here the last option relates to this, by default its on, turn it off.

I know from personal expereince if I ring someone I expect to be available,
and am dropped straight to their voice mail, I am inclined to hang up, leave
it a minute, and try again, just in case they were out of cell coverage. In
this way, the person might get through the 3 minute rule.
