I find your statement that email on the iPad is easier than it is on the phone
fascinating. I despise email on the iPad. I had the original iPad, and I have
an iPad mini. And I never use it for mail unless my phone is totally dead.
Mostly, this is because whenever I open the app, it never puts me in the
message list. It always puts me in a message. I spend a lot of time in the
list, only reading those things that I want to read. The iPad is good for
somethings, but I would really be curious why you think the mail app is so
wonderful on it. My experience has been so opposite. One other thing, and I
don’t think it’s been fixed on the iPad. When you open a message to read it, on
the phone, a two finger flick up gets you only the message text, that is, the
thing you want to read. On the iPad, you get a lot of extra junk before you get
the text. Unless that has recently changed which is possible, because I haven’t
used mail on my iPad mini in a little while.
