I agree that everyone who is blind should have Seeing AI on their phone, but if you want a stand alone money identifier for US currency that will tell you whether it is the front or back of the bill, EyeNote works great and is the only one that does front/back.
I mention the front/back thing because I had a client who really, really wanted to keep his money all facing the same direction in his wallet. If you need to identify money from something over 20 countries including the US, then Money Reader is the one you want. But, Seeing AI is the most useful app for multiple functions in the app store, and its money identifier works as well as any other, you simply have to flick to that channel. I personally tend to use one of the dedicated money identifiers when all I want to do is check my folding money, but if I already am using Seeing AI, I will simply use it rather than switching to another ap.
