Triple click home should work.
When I upgraded to iOS 6 on my 4S I did a factory restore and VoiceOver started
up when I triple clicked home.
iPhone 5 should not be any different.

No, the iPhone five has a Nano sim card, so should come with it already in.
Your current sim card will not fit, it's too large. This all depends on your
carrier. If there is a sim card already in it, witch there should be. Plug it
in to your computer, and wait for iTunes to launch. Go through the normal
setup procedure, and then you have to go to advanced options, or accessibility,
and tell it to turn voice over on. Oh, that's what it is called, universal
access. I didn't have to do this cause I set my up in the store. Once you
enable voice over, your good to go.

Subject: Procedure for starting up new iPhone?

Hi All,

Until now I've been a very happy iPod Touch user, but tomorrow, my new iPhone 5
arrives in the mail.

I have a question for how to get it started once I take it out of the box.

My guess would be this:

Insert my sim card from my old phone

Turn it on by pressing the button on the top edge

Activate VoiceOver with the triple click home.

Would someone confirm or correct me? Does the iPhone vibrate on startup? Do I
need to turn it on or do I just hit triple click home??

Thanks all,

Lisa
