My first Sprint 4S came with the micro sim installed, but had to get a warranty
replacement because of the volume control, and that one didn't have a sim in.
If you start up even CDMA IPhones with no sim, it will nag about it. I had the
old one just about packed up to send back when I discovered I needed the sim,
if nothing else in Sprint's case, to suppress the error.

Depends on your sim whether it will work in IPhone. Some you have to cut
down. (I just got a new one from O2. Suggest you check that.

Otherwise you should be good to go with tripple click home!

Subject: Procedure for starting up new iPhone?

    Hi All,

Until now I've been a very happy iPod Touch user, but tomorrow, my new
iPhone 5 arrives in the mail.

I have a question for how to get it started once I take it out of the box.

    My guess would be this:

Insert my sim card from my old phone

Turn it on by pressing the button on the top edge

Activate VoiceOver with the triple click home.

Would someone confirm or correct me? Does the iPhone vibrate on startup? Do
I need to turn it on or do I just hit triple click home??

    Thanks all,

    Lisa
