Thanks very much, Mark, for your upbeat message. Unfortunately, "Quick" is one of the vibration settings I have selected during testing, and still, the new mail notification is oddly intermittent. It fails more than it succeeds. I appreciate everyone's helpfulness, and I am confident a solution will be found before I am driven over the brink.
