Joshua, Since this is your first iPhone and I don't get the sense that you have a lot of contacts with which you need help transferring from an older style phone, I'd suggest you just order your new phone online from Apple. I'm not sure whether you have an existing plan for a non-smart phone or if you are starting fresh. I guess you need to answer that question about your service provider since you will have to tell Apple who it is before ordering a new iPhone. When I ordered my iPhone 8 directly from Apple last August, they financed it using Citizens One with no interest and I pay $35.37 per month which I selected to do over 24 months. Of course, I already had an iPhone and the new phone just stepped into my old Verizon plan.
